Our Mission

Foodtree Collective is an ethical enterprise rooted in regenerative agroforestry and community food resilience.

We grow and distribute edible trees that are suitable and sustainable to the Irish climate, share knowledge through education and research, and collaborate with local groups to regenerate Ireland’s landscapes.

Our work connects cultivation, education, and activism – supporting people to create sustainable, local food systems that nourish both land and community, and contributes positively towards mitigating the effects of climate change.

Our Areas of Focus

Our work is focused on three distinct areas, all with the goal of growing food sustainability practices in Ireland.

Cultivation

The Foodtree nursery, where we grow native and edible trees, aims to restore biodiversity and food resilience across Ireland, through our tree nursery. We practice ethical, sustainable business practices.

Education

Through workshops, talks, and collaborative projects, we explore regenerative food systems and agroforestry practices that support ecological and community wellbeing. We aim to educate as many people in Ireland about the importance of food resilience.

Action

We advocate for sustainable food policies, community reforestation, and fair access to regenerative resources, supporting people taking climate action locally.

Grow With Us

Whether you’re planting a food forest, wanting to learn about food sustainability, or building a community garden, Foodtree Collective can help.

The Foodtree Collective supports practical initiatives that reconnect people, food, and land — working toward a resilient and regenerative food system in Ireland.

Foodtree Nursery

Located just outside Tulla, County Clare, our nursery cultivates and supplies ethically grown food-bearing trees, primarily native fruit and nut trees. The nursery provides for individual growers, community projects, schools, farms, and businesses, with wholesale options available for larger orders.

Education & Workshops

We offer workshops and learning programmes for schools, communities, businesses, and the general public, suitable for all levels of interest. We teach about food sustainability, native trees, and regenerative agroforestry.

Consultancy & Advocacy

We collaborate with communities, landowners, and organisations to design and establish regenerative food forests and agroforestry projects across Ireland. Our work combines on-the-ground consultancy with and advocacy for sustainable land use and food policy, helping to create practical models of ecological restoration and local resilience.
